After many long months, we are excited to phase in our reopening and bring in-person Irish experiences
to the public starting September 16!

Our new open hours are:
Wednesdays, 10 AM – 3 PM
Fridays, 3 PM – 8 PM
Saturdays, 12 PM – 6 PM

Here’s what you need to know – please read all the way to the end:

1. Safety is our number one priority.

In accordance with the City of Phoenix, all visitors must wear a mask during the duration of their visit. Please be respectful and supportive of these measures so we may continue to offer in-person experiences to the public.

Please stay home if you are sick or think you may be sick. The health and safety of our staff and patrons is paramount – but we cannot do it alone.

2. Tours and on-site experiences will be modified

So we may provide access to our beautiful facility, guided tours will be unavailable until further notice. In the coming weeks, patrons may purchase a self-guided tour guide complete with headphones to assist in their viewing of our facility.

Limited staff and volunteers will be on site to answer questions and provide help to our visitors. We appreciate your cooperation and support during this new phase.

3. The McClelland Library will remain closed until further notice

With the advice of industry experts and to follow our partners in the Phoenix Public Library system, the McClelland Library will remain closed for regular functions as well as for public access until further notice. We are not accepting books or donations at this time and late fees will continue to be waived.

Visitors may still experience the wonders of the Library through our visual displays set up in the Great Hall and in the future through our virtual tours. We appreciate your patience and understanding. We encourage you to “Library from Home” and hope you will stay tuned for some exciting news coming soon!

We know there will be adjustments and learnings as we go and are ever grateful to our community for its patience, understanding, and love. Together, we can navigate this uncertain time and enjoy our Center safely.
