UPCOMING SHOWS
United Nations of Comedy
Saturday July 19th 2025 at 8pm, doors open at 7pm
Come join the United Nations of Comedy for a hilarious night of standup at The Irish Cultural Center & McClelland Library! Three comedians from completely different backgrounds (Mexican, Australian & American) will have you laughing until your sides split!
Then to close the show all three will take the stage together to roast YOU! Thats right! The audience!
The three comedians performing are Miguel Rojas, Chris Kidder and Dan Green.
MIGUEL ROJAS is an L.A. based comedian and actor. Growing up in the city of angels he worked a number of dead end jobs until he did his first standup routine on a dare in 2011. He was instantly hooked! In 2017 he quickly became a SAG artist landing roles on productions made by Comedy Central and FX making just enough to support his four cats, fourth wife (in addition to his third!) and adult daughter. He hilariously explains this balancing act at The Hollywood Improv, The Ice House in Pasadena and in packed comedy clubs all over Southern California.
CHRIS KIDDER is a comedian based out of Los Angeles, CA. Over the years Kidder has lived many lives, he was in the Army, travelled the country, became a tattoo artist, married his best friend, had children, lost a battle at a Starbucks drive-thru and now shares all those stories on stage. If he’s not on stage making the crowd fall in love with his adventures he can be found somewhere misguiding his two kids. He has performed at The Hollywood Improv, The World Famous Comedy Store and he regularly makes the crowds laugh at the legendary Ice House in Pasadena.
DAN GREEN is a former Australian soldier & late night fixer whos crazy journey through life from selling guns in Texas, bouncing nightclubs and even time in Iraq working as a contractor to doing standup in L.A.’s greatest comedy clubs will have you in stitches! He performs at The Laugh Factory and The Hollywood Improv and produces an online food show called “Are You My Vege-mate?” where he gives comedians their first taste of Vegemite! You can also find his podcast “The Verbal Gym” on Spotify and I-Tunes.

Arán & Im (Bread & Butter) By Manchán Magan
We need to find a way of talking about the Irish language-about the sublime beauty and profound oddness of this ancient tongue that has been spoken on the island for 2,500 to3,000 years, and is now slipping slowly from our grasp.
What can the word for the lonesomeness of a cow bereft of her calf, diadhánach, teach us about our current methods of food production? Why does one need to orientate oneself to the sun to give directions in Irish?

Hardy Bucks
April 14th, 2023
From RTE’s hit show and film – Martin Maloney from Hardy Bucks and Stephen Kelly from 3 Bucks Left are teaming up for a show like no other! Get ready for a night of non-stop laughter, entertainment and fun as these two talented performers hit the stage together. The duo first met in school in 1996 after they skipped their afternoon woodwork class and went dossing up the Swinford woods, where they learned that they shared a mutual passion for Jim Morrison and the Doors. When the 4 o’clock bell finally rang it was time to go, but unfortunately they ran into their metal teacher from the previous class as he was driving home. The rest was history.
Together, Martin and Stephen are set to deliver a show that will leave you wanting more. From high-paced comedy action to great music and an incredible atmosphere, this show promises to be a night to remember. So grab your friends and get ready to laugh until your sides hurt, because Martin Maloney and Stephen Kelly are coming to town!
