Laddie Guy Shane

Laddie Guy Shane is a Phoenix resident with his fiancé, Blake and they are both proud of their Irish heritage. While attending Arizona State University, Laddie found a passion for public policy and politics. He assisted in the Governor-Elect Doug Ducey transition team and subsequently served in the Ducey administration from 2015-2017. During that time, Laddie worked in many roles in the areas of policy and public relations. In 2017, he served as the Director of Constituent Engagement and Appointments, overseeing over 2,000 appointments as well as outreach and services provided to the public by the Governor’s Office and state agencies. In February 2022, Laddie founded Roosevelt Strategy Group, a Public Affairs and Political Consulting firm in Downtown Phoenix where he works with political candidates, political organizations, non-profits, and businesses.

In 2016, He served as the Friends of Saint Patrick Arizona Chapter Young Ambassador and has served as President from 2019-Present. The Saint Patrick Centre in Downpatrick Co. Down, and its Friends promote positive and ongoing relationships between America and Ireland through education, cultural exchanges, celebration, and charity. From 2020-2021, he served as the Chairman of the Board of The Arc of Tempe which promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Laddie is also active with the One Community’s Millennial Advisory Council (MAC) which is a dedicated team of LGBTQ+ and allied young professionals who are focused on building partnerships with the next generation of local leaders through young professional networking and civic engagement programming.

Laddie loves traveling, cooking, spending time with loved ones and anything involving Ireland and/or Disney.
