The Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library are located on the West side of Central between McDowell and Roosevelt. We are located in the heart of Margaret Hance Park in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.
When taking the light rail to our facilities please exit at the Roosevelt/Central exit, or “The Arts District.” Light rail comes and goes from our facilities approximately every 15 minutes.
When coming for long visits please be aware we do not have an area on campus designated for lunches. Additionally all food is prohibited within the Library. Please prepare to picnic in the park or eat at one of the many local restaurants near our facility.
Access to the Center is only available from the north as Central is split into one way streets due to the light rail. When driving to the Cultural Center or Library, please be sure to come in on McDowell Rd. and then turn south onto Central Avenue. The Cultural Center and Library are located on the right hand side and you will enter through the driveway with the green harp gates.
Parking at the Cultural Center and Library is limited to first come first serve basis in the adjacent lot. However, there is an abundance of public parking nearby for visitors should the closest lot become full. Below you will find a map of the additional parking near our facilities:
