What is a seisiún?
Seisiún is the Irish word for session which is an informal gathering of Irish traditional musicians for the purpose of celebrating their common interest in the music by playing it together in a relaxed, informal setting.

First Fridays at the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library is a more traditional open session format from 6pm – 8pm
If you always wanted to experience a traditional Irish seisiún, this is your chance! If you’re new and maybe a little unsure, you are most welcome to come and just listen a few times and then reach out if you want to be our headliner!!
We are a part of the City of Phoenix First Friday and we hope our seisiún becomes your new tradition! See you there! Admission is FREE!
