Genealogy Workshop

This workshop will acquaint participants with Irish genealogist John Grenham’s extensive Irish Genealogy research background that resulted in the development of his Irish Ancestors website. The goal of the workshop is to equip participants with the knowledge to efficiently utilize the websites organization, contents and guidelines in tracing their Irish ancestry.

The website is based on John Grenham’s book Tracing Your IRISH Ancestors which is the most comprehensive source for determining which Irish ancestral records have survived and how to find and use them. In addition the site provides research guidelines and direct links to a number of repositories and sites containing both original records, transcripts and research necessary information.
