Third Friday Ceili
The ICC presents the Third Friday Ceili each month in the Great Hall. The ceilis are family oriented Irish social dances. There are usually six different dances at each ceili including such favorites as “The Walls of Limerick”, “The Siege of Ennis”, “The Waves of Tory” and the “Haymakers Jig”. We have the good fortune to have our music played by our ceili band, “De Mairt Ceol”. Anne and Jim Daugherty usually teach and call the dances.
There is no extra charge for the Orientation/Beginners session. We will walk you through the dances before we dance them, then call the dances as you dance. No prior experience is necessary. We focus on having a fun time.
