First Friday Seisiún
Get your 10k Drawing tickets before the February 7th Drawing!
The ICC is starting our inaugural First Friday music Seisiún in the Great Hall on Friday, February 7th, 2020!
The ICLF is delighted to announce that the famous Fibber Magee’s seisiún musicians will be a part of our monthly First Friday seisiúns. Musicians and singers are welcome. If you always wanted to experience a traditional Irish seisiún, this is your chance! If you’re new and maybe a little unsure, you are most welcome to come and just listen a few times! That’s part of the session experience too! There will be a full bar available. Occasionally we may have other events and will share that on our website and social media. We are a part of the City of Phoenix First Friday and we hope our seisiún becomes a new tradition! See you there!
Seisiún is the Irish word for session which is an informal gathering of Irish traditional musicians for the purpose of celebrating their common interest in the music by playing it together in a relaxed, informal setting.
