Join us every First Friday from 6 to 9PM

Visitors entering the Great Hall at the Irish Cultural Center are quickly drawn to the fascinating display on the opposite wall. Every month there are pictures, quilts, paintings and other superb pieces of art that represent the work of local artisans. Recent displays have shown high resolution photos of beautiful scenes from Ireland, creative fabric art that entice the curious mind, and paintings in many mediums that make you think you are dreaming of the Emerald Isle. After viewing these works your desire to visit Ireland will be enhanced so that you’d like to jump on a plane tomorrow.

A Special Celebration

Friday May 5 the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library celebrated Cinco de Mayo and “Los San Patricios.”

Our Cinco de Mayo fandango featured singing, dancing, and live music from Far From Home as well as an exhibit telling the story of the St. Patrick’s Battalion. Guest author was Mr. Ernesto Patino, formerly of Los San Patricios de Arizona. What better place to fiesta than the only Irish Castle in Arizona? Exhibit will be up until the end of May.

Exhibition board for Los San Patricios exhibit featured on May 5 – First Friday and running through May 2017
