Irish Arts Summer Camp –  June 16 and 17

Whether you want to be on stage or behind the scenes helping to make it happen, this summer camp is for you. Students will have the opportunity to develop performance skills through interpretation of the famous Irish tale, Finn McCool and the Salmon of Knowledge.

Do students need to be Irish to attend?
The Irish Arts Summer Camp is open to all children. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce or foster the Irish Culture through the fine arts.

All students will receive a t-shirt to decorate and wear for the performance.  It is important that you indicate on the registration form the size your child will need.

Do you offer pre camp and post camp care for students?
Pre & Post Camp care is available for one hour before camp starts and one hour after camp ends. This service is available for an additional $10.00 per hour. Any camper who arrives before 7:45am or leaves after 4:15pm will be charged the hourly rate for pre and post camp. Please let us know if you will need this service.

There are both morning and afternoon break times in addition to the mid-day lunch break. Snacks and drinks will be provided for the morning and afternoon break times.

We are a peanut and nut free facility.
Thank you for observing this policy for the safety of all students attending.

What should my child wear to camp?
The Irish Arts Summer Camp is very active! So make sure that your child is dressed to play and move. Closed toe shoes are a must. No flip flops! Comfortable clothing that allows movement is preferable. Do not have your child wear or bring anything valuable to camp. The Irish Cultural Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Will students be outside during the day?
All class activities as well as lunches will take place indoors. The teachers may opt to have breaks outside weather permitting. These breaks are short and are always in the shade on the outer baile (courtyard).

What is the Drop-off and Pick-up procedure?
The Irish Cultural Center’s parking lot is located directly behind (west of) the Center’s buildings. All students need to be signed in and checked out at the end of the day by a parent/guardian or authorized person. ID’s will be checked.
